De grote winsten zijn opvallend omdat de Nederlandse economie zich in een recessie bevindt. ABN Amro merkt wel dat de economie stagneert, maar ziet dat nog niet direct terug in zijn resultaten: “Concrete last van de afkoelende economie hebben we nog niet. Wat we wel zien is dat de faillissementen beginnen toe te nemen.”
